The Minx is in Tewkesbury today.

19.17    An afternoon of stuff and practicing. Called back from World HQ by the Minx for a WillyFred emergency. To the vet with the little creature: he was suffering from a toe-nail that seems to have been dislodged.

Returning to World HQ and an important call to the US, regarding the non-industry dissension that has been occupying much of my attention. The resolution I proposed has been rejected.

Don't know how recently you may have gone through primary sources, but here's a few lines from a G talk in NYC, 1924 (from "Views from the Real World Book").

"We do not know how to apply the language of numbers to the attributes of things.  If we knew how do to it and could designate all the qualities of things by numbers in relation to some immutable number, this would be an exact language."  (pg 62).

Not a bad reference to unload onto those who think JGB went off course with respect to what G was doing....   this sounds like a direct appeal for someone to write the DU.
